36 protagonists

I’m Anna Heiter, a newborn analogue photographer. I’ve never shot with a digital camera — and there’s a very conscious possibility I never will. I fell for film instantly, without hesitation, and now I want you to fall for it too.

September is just around the corner, and film seems to have been made for autumn. Soft light, warm tones, mist, rain, reflections, golden leaves — all those things that become especially atmospheric on film.

 But there’s absolutely no need to turn autumn into a backdrop. Film can make a little piece of cinema out of any place, and our city B. happens to be full of beautiful ones.  

So I’m looking for 36 protagonists who would like to become part of this project. You’ll get 5 film portraits for 2,000 ₽, an honest review, and a mention on social media.

What you’ll receive: a lot of pleasure, and a mini-site with atmospheric — and, in every sense, alive — photographs, already developed and scanned. 

Ready in: 1–2 weeks, depending on the lab’s turnaround time. 

Colour or black & white? Your choice. There are 18 colour spots and 18 black-and-white spots available =)

 We can shoot on the streets, by the river, in a restaurant, a café, a park — wherever you like  

I created this project to introduce you to genuinely living photography — and to make back the cost of the equipment I bought to work with it.  

Which means that by taking part, you’ll be supporting my creative work.  I made a radical change in my life and left the profession that used to support me financially to dive deeper into photography.
